High Performance Club Programs

High Performance Club Programs

USRowing High Performance Partner Clubs are key stakeholders in USRowing's mission to train, support and develop the elite athlete talent pool that will represent the United States in international competition. Partner programs will place an emphasis on training athletes in small boats for selection and development of senior athletes on the U.S. national teams through trials and selection camps.

Partner programs will work in coordination with USRowing's Chief High Performance Director on the national training program, monitoring, and events. Partner clubs will allow elite athletes the opportunity to utilize and partner with national team resources (medical, nutritional, additional sport performance, coaching education and development), while providing high-level support for the athlete pool in locations that best suit the athlete's long-term training and needs.

Partner programs will have access to national team training programs and the opportunity to consult with USRowing National Team staff and other coaching education resources in the development of training programs and standards. Clubs should conduct erg testing in conjunction with other high performance programs and submit scores to be used for athlete identification and discretionary invitations to selection camps. Partner programs will submit athlete rosters that will be added to the national team database and will be included in distribution of current information relating to USADA, USOPC, World Rowing requirements and domestic selection events.

HP Clubs will receive updates regarding athlete identification, selection camps, and processes. USRowing will post information about camp and training program offerings at partner clubs in an effort to direct athletes who wish to be part of the national team network.

Clubs who have already joined USRowing in this partnership are listed below. Interested programs should submit applications to:
